For years, I struggled with acne and felt the need to hide behind heavy makeup and products that only worsened my skin. However, my life and skin transformed once I started seeing an esthetician.
As an esthetician, building a comfortable and trusting relationship with each client is my top priority. I take pride in listening to your unique concerns or preferences and delivering 100% satisfaction.
Meet the Team
Amanda Verneau
OWNER
Meet Amanda, a licensed master esthetician and makeup artist. She founded Aesthetics by Amanda during her sophomore year at Longwood University, starting as a self-taught makeup artist doing makeup for friends and classmates. Amanda's business quickly grew, and she became involved with Delta Sigma Pi and Alpha Phi Omega, developing valuable friendships and professional relationships.
After earning her Bachelor's degree in Business Management in 2016, Amanda entered the wedding industry, where many of her past relationships from college became bridal clients. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for bridal makeup. Amanda then transitioned to working in a high-end salon, where she cultivated a new love for esthetics and advanced skincare, leading her to pursue a Professional Esthetics license at the American Spirit Institute.
Her passion for esthetics grew during her education, and she continued on to complete her masters, becoming a Virginia State Board Licensed Master Esthetician in January of 2019. Amanda's love for esthetics continues to inspire her to learn and grow every day, and she now runs her business full-time.

I am 25 years old, a Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Mama to two amazing little humans. I am so grateful that I have been able to stay at home with them for their first few years. During that time, I was able to complete my education and clinical hours in a professional spa environment.
The area of health and wellness has always been an important part of my life. I believe it is essential to nurture and care for ourselves, and I feel so lucky to have a career that I am truly passionate about. I aim to be highly attuned to my clients throughout their treatment.
Whether you are suffering from chronic pain, stress/anxiety, muscle tension, or are past due for some intense relaxation - I will always strive to provide an individualized experience based on your specific needs.
